LuBiCa 2022 - CALL FOR ARTISTS!

Lucca Biennale - Cartasia is pleased to announce the opening of the calls for the outdoor section and the indoor section of the XI Edition.

Artists, designers, architects and professionals are asked to respond with their creativity to the theme "The White Page", proposing one or more works. 

Call Outdoor Exhibition - Entries up to 31 October 2021 

The Outdoor section consists of monumental sculptures in cardboard, created during an artist residency in July. The Outdoor artists are hosted in the city of Lucca for a month, with complete supply of material, equipment and assistance. The monumental works are then installed in key locations of the historical town centre.

 Call Indoor Exhibition - Entries up to 15 January 2022 

The Indoor section shows the contemporary artworks of the current Paper Art scene in one or more exhibitions of the historical town centre of Lucca. The works are chosen for their innovative technique and compliancy with the theme of the edition, selected through an international call for artists.

Lucca Biennale - Cartasia è entusiasta di annunciare che sono ufficialmente aperti i bandi per la sezione outdoor e la sezione indoor della XI Edizione.

Artisti, designer e architetti sono invitati a proporre una o più opere che risuonino con il   tema "The White Page". 

Bando di concorso Outdoor - Scadenza il 31 ottobre 2021

La sezione Outdoor consiste nell'insieme delle sculture monumentali in cartone, realizzate durante una residenza d'artista in luglio. Gli artisti Outdoor sono ospitati per un mese nella città di Lucca, con completa fornitura di materiale, attrezzatura e assistenza. Le opere monumentali vengono poi installate all'aperto in luoghi chiave del centro storico di Lucca. 

Bando di concorso Indoor - Scadenza il 15 gennaio 2022 

La sezione Indoor è composta da opere d'arte in carta riunite in una o più mostre nel centro storico di Lucca. Le opere sono selezionate per la loro tecnica innovativa, l'attinenza al tema dell'edizione.
